Referral Process
- Medicare: For treatment under Medicare Better Access Mental Health Care Plans and Chronic Condition Care Plans please see a GP to obtain the referral. Mental Health care plan sessions have a quota of ten sessions per calendar year. Chronic Condition Management Plans (under Mental Health Worker Category) have a quota of five sessions per calendar year. Please note that there will be an out-of-pocket expense.
- WorkCover: Please discuss obtaining a referral for psychological treatment with a GP and WorkCover.
- Private Health Insurance: Some private health insurance funds offer rebates for sessions depending on the specific level of cover.
- NDIS: NDIS participants are eligible for service provision if psychological therapy is specified within the plan-managed or self-managed NDIS plan.
- Supervision - Please contact Allison to discuss your suitability and mutual availability.
- Self-referred - A referral is not necessary if the patient/ client wishes to pay full fees.
